Losing one of our own
We are extremely saddened to let those of you that came to recognize our crew know that one of the owners, Greg Ratliff, passed away on July 30th. The winery was always his happy place, letting him talk to people in all walks of life with a good story or a random history fact. On our standard bottles, he will forever be known as "the tall guy on the label."
A summer favorite returns
We have brought back our "summer wine." This is made from Heritage apples and only sweetened with local honey. With a hint of sweetness and the tartness from the apple, it's a great wine for days on the lake or nights at a campfire.
Pawpaw Festival!
September 19th and 20th we will be having the pawpaw festival at the winery. There will be local vendors, with all hand crafted wares, set up in the field behind the winery. We will also have a food truck on site. Many people who've lived here their whole life never knew we have a native fruit that tastes like banana growing throughout the area. We are trying to gather pawpaw related things, but either way it will be a good time!
